Warblers on Water
April 26 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Guided canoe trips will be offered on the Nassawango Creek, a tributary to the Pocomoke River near Snow Hill, Maryland. The Pocomoke has been designated an Important Bird Area by the Audubon Society, and the Nassawango is thick with warblers and neotropical migrants. The Nature Conservancy has preserved more than 9,900 acres along the Nassawango, which makes this 3-hour trip bordered by bald cypress a beautiful one. This smooth water paddle is appropriate for all skill levels. Paddlers may choose canoes, solo kayaks or tandem kayaks. Canoes will accommodate up to 3 adults.
Cost: $40 per person tandem, $50 per person solo
