Poodle Club of America National Specialty @ Wicomico Youth and Civic Center
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Hundreds of Poodles and Poodle owners from all over the
United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan will soon descend upon Salisbury
for the 82nd Annual Poodle Club of America National Specialty Dog Show April
20-25th at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.  The event is all
Poodles, all the time, all varieties including Toy, Miniature and Standard. The
five day show is free of charge for spectators and open to the public.

The Civic Center is magically transformed for the week. The interior of the
arena is laid with sod to provide the best footing possible for the Poodles and
their handlers. The exhibition rings are decorated with elaborate flower
arrangements. The Midway Room in the Civic Center becomes a dog-loving
shoppers’ paradise, and the rear parking lot becomes an RV campground complete
with electric hookups, barbeque grills, tents and lawn chairs.

There are other aspects to the week beyond the dog show competition. For

Pasta and Pottery @ Ocean City Center for the Arts
5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Enjoy a delicious pasta dinner provided by Fresco’s restaurant with wine and then make your own pasta bowl or creation of your choice out of clay in our pottery studio. You will be able to complete the project in one session. No experience needed! Must be 21 to be served wine.
 
Fee includes pasta dinner, clay, firing and all supplies.
 
$50 members, $55 non members
Cornhole Tournament at Hooters @ Hooters of West Ocean City
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Bags, cornhole, bean bag toss, tailgate toss.  No matter what you call it, Hooters is hosting a tournament so you can show off your skills!  Come out to Hooters of West Ocean City at 6pm to register.

Welcome to the East Coast’s fastest growing bike rally! Spring is nearing and everyone is itching to fire up their bikes and head to the beautiful resort town of Ocean City, Maryland!

Introduction to Oil Painting @ Ocean City Center for the Arts

If you have never painted in oils before, or if you want to expand your skills, this course gives you the basics you need to produce original work.  Learn color mixing skills, paint application and how to work with oil painting mediums.
