Randy Lee Ashcraft has been entertaining people all over the country for over 20 years and has returned home to the Eastern Shore to perform for his favorite fans! His music is often referred to as ‘beach country’. A former Green Beret in the United States Army, Randy has released five albums, which combined have sold over 20,000 copies to places as far reaching as Europe. In 1999, he received a citation from Governor Parris Glendening of Maryland honoring his ‘dedicated efforts to share the beauty of the Eastern Shore of Maryland region through his music and the song ‘Shore Thing”.  Randy is also the ’02, ’03, ’04, and ’05 winner for Best Entertainer/Singer of the Eastern Shore, the ’03, ’04, and ’05 winner for Best Singer/Songwriter on Delmarva, and the ’08 Entertainer of the Year as presented by the Coconut Times.

Mosaics @ Ocean City Center for the Arts
10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Learn the basics of creating mosaics and go on to create in a multitude of ways. Students will take tile, glass, shells, stones, broken shards, ceramics, non-porous items and other “cast aways” to create a mosaic which can be displayed inside or out. This is a great way to recycle and learn a technique that can be used in so many different projects. At the end of this class you will have an understanding of adhesives and grouts and leave with a completed piece for indoor or outdoor display. All tools and materials will be provided, but please bring any personal pieces you may want to incorporate.

1st Saturday Launch Party at Headquarters Live @ Headquarters Live

Come support Salisbury’s newest Downtown music event! The free, family-friendly, monthly event will begin in April, but we’re holding a launch party in March to raise funding. We’ll only ask you for money once! Lewis & Clark, The Chris English Band, and The Larks are playing. There will be a chance auction and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
