My Fiancee and I booked our two night stay online with ease. It was great to cross the bridge into OC and turn almost right into the hotel parking lot, which was large and not over crowded. The lobby was clean and welcoming and the staff was efficient. The elevator was a quick way up to our 3rd floor room (corner king). The room was HUGE and spotless with a beautiful balcony and LARGE bathroom. Crossing Coastal Highway was easy, we had to wait about 1-2 minutes to be able to cross, followed by an easy 1 block walk to the beach. There was a good selection of restaurants and amenities nearby. (TCBY, beer & wine, Fager's Island, 7-11, T-shirt factory, etc.) The hotel was quiet at night, and balcony was very private. AWESOME hotel, can't wait to stay again.
Great hotel for its price!!!!
Everything was great, the rooms were clean, the meals in their restaurant delicious, the swimming pool was very clean. The beach is very close to the hotel and there are lots of supermarkets and restaurants near by. I think that the only thing that is missing is a lifeguard on the pool so the kids wont jump and dive in it, but except for that we loved it and we recommend it to everyone who wants great stay in non expensive but great hotel.
I was very pleased with our stay at Sea Bay.
I can't say enough good things about our stay here. The room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless. Our deck overlooked the large pool area which was fun to watch the people enjoy their water time. I also enjoyed the pool which is kept very clean. The room came equipped with hair dryer, iron and ironing board, plus the little soaps and shampoos you love to sample. The A/C worked continuesly which is important to me for uninterupted sleep. The staff did an excellent job of checking us in and out and
keeping our room clean. One of the best values in OC. I would recommend this motel to everyone.
This was my first visit to the Sea Bay and I'll definitely stay again. The beach is right across the street and only took a couple of minutes to walk to. The staff was very friendly and anytime we asked for something (extra coffee and towels) it was delivered to us within minutes! The inside and the grounds were both very clean and the pool was salt water which was AMAZING! We went to their restaurant every morning for breakfast and loved it. Best chipped beef gravy I've ever had!
Beautiful View for Affordable Price
We stayed for three nights and booked at the last moment for weekend trip. We did not want to pay high price for hotels on the beach and usually like to stay in a quiet spot and walk or drive to the beach for the day. The only thing that open was a room in the west building with a "bayview" that was $30 more per night than the one we wanted in the main building. We were so happy that we paid the extra 30 bucks and had the bayview because it was so peaceful waking up with a view of the bay and ducks and geese. The view from the balconies is the same one they show on the website and it is very beautiful.
(The main building views were of the parking lot or street.) The west building also has a small lobby/lounge area and its own pool seperate from the main building which was very cozy. Beds were comfortable and refrigerator large. We had a small table with two chairs and ate lunches in our room.
